Sturdy Furniture - Craftwork Introduces A Solid Foam Chair For Demanding Or Medium Secure Environments As Part Of The Mental Health Furniture Range.

This ergonomic chair is the most recent addition to our range of mental health furniture.

It solves the problem of providing robust but safe seating in a medium secure or difficult environment.  The chair is formed from a solid foam block containing no wooden or metal frame components.  It is solid enough to provide firm but comfortable seating while being soft and light enough to avoid personal injury if thrown - ideal mental health furniture.

The chair measures 840h x 570w x 820d (mm) but can be manufactured in sizes suitable for children if required. We also manufacture a complementary foam stool 460h x 460w x 460d (mm).   Bespoke sizes of both products can be produced for specific projects.

It is available in a massive range of crib 5 coverings - fabric, faux leather or vinyl -  depending on the environment it’s going into.  It’s shown in Panvelle Stretch.  The covers can be fastened into place with zips or velcro or completly sealed if required.
